SorberFlex® - ALR

Sheet Size:
2400 x 1300 x 25 mm Barrier 32
Composite Sandwich - Decoupled Flexible Noise Barrier with Absorptive Foam Facing Sorberflex is a composite sandwich material comprising of a flexible high mass noise barrier, based on Wavebar® technology, laminated between two layers of flexible acoustic foam.

Both the decoupling foam and absorptive layer are composed of Soundguard’s Sorberfoam® combustion modified, polyether polyurethane foam that provides excellent hydrolysis resistance.

This foam is especially suited for use in wet and humid areas, such as boats or tropical environments.
The construction of Sorberflex®™ increases overall transmission loss through the use of the decoupled barrier and provides a high degree of sound absorption thereby reducing reverberant noise levels.

SoundPaint SP150

Soundpaint SP150 is a fast drying, water based, thixotropic vibration damping compound. The exceptional vibration damping properties are complemented by ease of use, environmental friendliness and low combustibility.
Soundpaint can be easily applied by trowel, brush, roller or spray gun. Once dry the cured film is UV resistant, water resistant and abrasion resistant.

Applications:
  • Vessel hulls, decks, deck heads and bulkheads
  • Ancillary machinery and equipment enclosures
  • Interior of superstructure stainless steel fabrications, ventilation ducts

Wavebar

Wavebar® is a high performance, mass barrier offering superior acoustic transmission loss and is also available with a low spread of flame surface covering, known as Wavebar Quadzero. To achieve this high performance, the engineering team developed Wavebar to be dense, thin, strong, tear-resistant and highly flexible. These properties give the product high transmission loss throughout the various weight ranges.

Applications:
  • Flexible mass barrier for engine room bulkhead and deck heads
  • High privacy partition wall linings, floors
  • Soft acoustic enclosures, baffles
  • Replacement for lead sheeting
  • Acoustic up-scaling of existing wall, ceilings and floors

Sorberfoam

Sorberfoam™ is the next generation of combustion modified, flexible acoustic foams, offering high noise absorption properties across a broad frequency range.

Pyrotek has developed a polyurethane foam that outperforms traditional acoustic foams by controlling the cell size, porosity, density and the flow resistivity throughout the cell structure and is engineered to resist degradation or foam rot (hydrolysis).
It is offered in a range of coverings* and thicknesses dependent on application.

Applications:
  • Engine compartments and covers to control reflected noise
  • Partial enclosures
  • Deckhead linings
  • Hull side linings

Soundlag

Soundlag 4525C has been developed as an easy to use acoustic treatment which reduces noise breakout from
pipes. The unique flexibility of the polymer-based noise barrier provides superior performance and allows even the smallest pipes to be lagged effectively. It’s independently tested in laboratory conditions and on site to give proven consistent performance. Leading consultants specify Soundlag 4525C with confidence.
Low maintenance with a long service life, the aluminium foil facing provides a robust lifetime surface finish, ensuring
protection from damage, and improves fire resistance.
  • Easiest pipelag product on the market to cut, wrap & install
  • Most widely specified by leading acoustic & EMP (electrical, mechanical & plumbing) consultants
  • Highly flexible, allowing it to conform to the smallest dia. Pipes & bends (has no memory)
  • No odour & non irritant
  • No solvents or adhesives used during manufacture
  • Complies to building standard regulations for low VOC ommission
  • Ten year warranty
  • Available world wide
